In this blog, you’ll learn about how to uncover your ideal customer persona to allow you to create tailored marketing materials that will help you grow your audience and client base.

The key to our client’s success is having a deep understanding of who they serve; the more they know about their audience, the better. In order to grow our client’s business and expand their reach, it’s important to know who they want to reach out to and why, what their ideal customer looks like and how best we can reach out to them. We feel confident in our digital marketing strategies for alternative healing and holistic therapists because we speak their language and are part of their audience. We’re familiar with the health and wellness community and so can tailor our messaging and branding in a way that resonates with them. We help our clients do the same through a reflective session where we ask our client’s questions about their audience and consider what their ideal customer might look like.

We can first consider objective information about our client’s audience such as age range, profession, family life and relationships. This can help our clients understand how they can market certain services depending on their audience’s lifestyle or needs. It’s also important to reflect on what their audience’s values and beliefs might be. We endeavour to make sure our company values of integrity, trust and compassion come across in everything we do with the hopes that our audience resonates with these values too. We want to help our clients achieve this too, and reflecting on what their audience’s values might be is pivotal to this. We also ask our clients to reflect on what a day in their audience’s life looks like. This helps our client understand how their audience might use their products/services and identify a point of resonance or connection with their audience.

We ask our client’s to consider how their audience might think or feel, to really dive deep into their audience’s motivations, wants, needs and beliefs, to consider what kind of transformation their audience is looking for and why. However, we realise that this can be quite a daunting process! You may not know the answer to all of these questions just yet. For those questions you can’t answer, it’s time to roll up your sleeves, dig in, and start researching. We’ll be there to support you all the way, offering guidance and advice as you complete your research. When our clients are done, they’ll know exactly who they serve, what life is like for them, and the problems and challenges that they are experiencing. By answering questions about your ideal client now, you’ll be able to understand your audience at a much deeper level. Doing this work now makes everything a lot easier as we get into the content creation and marketing. We can create marketing materials for our clients that will resonate and speak to their audience, growing our client’s audience and establishing their brand even further.

In our earlier blogs, we discussed how we take a transparent and collaborative approach to everything we do. We endeavour to highlight to our clients what we do and why and make sure they approve everything we present to them. Our ideal customer persona exercise is a great example of this; our clients complete research into what their ideal customers look like and how they might think and we create digital marketing materials accordingly that will speak to that audience. It really is a collaborative effort, combining our expertise in Digital Marketing with the wants and needs of our clients, helping them to expand their reach and the amazing work they do to create positive change.

We’ll offer all this information and more in a worksheet made available to you through a partnership with us. If this exercise sounds interesting and useful to you, then feel free to get in touch with us!
